The Washington Post reported on Monday evening that the federal authorities had announced the arrest of the young woman, without providing details.

Images broadcast by the British channel ITV show a young woman, whose mother confirmed the identity with the chain, enjoining the crowd to go to the floor of the building.An anonymous witness, interviewed by the American authorities, claims to have seen other videos in which Riley Williams takes a computer (or a hard drive) in the office of Nancy Pelosi.

Break -in and public order

According to the same witness quoted in the indictment, who claims to be an ex-partner of the young woman, the latter had planned to send the equipment to a contact in Russia so that he sells it to the external intelligence servicesRussians (SVR).The operation would finally have failed, for not specified reasons, and Riley Williams would therefore be in possession of the computer or having destroyed it.An arrest warrant was issued against the young woman, which her mother told an ITV journalist that she had left the family home.The Washington Federal Prosecutor's Office has refused to give more details immediately.
