More than 200 additional nurses responded to the Quebec government's call, launched last week, to lend a hand in the network of health.
In total, in one month, more than 747 people (+211) were hired by establishments in the health and social services network. Of this number, 93 were retirees, and 654 new resources come from the independent workforce.
Added to this are 1,976 people who were working part-time and have gone full-time.
On Twitter, the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, also indicated that discussions were underway with nearly 3,262 potential candidates.
Recall that on September 23, the government announced that it needed 4,300 nurses in the health network to swell the workforce hit by the pandemic.
