How to make your lipstick last all day?

To display a beautiful smile, day or night, it is important that our lipstick remains true to us throughout the day. But to keep a pretty colorful mouth for a very long time, here are the instructions:

1. Well-groomed lips

For an optimal application, the first thing to do is to take care of your lips on a daily basis: in addition to good hydration, the lips regularly need exfoliation in order to eliminate all the small dead skin and to smooth the mouth. We put on gentle exfoliators specially designed for the lips so as not to damage them. Then, do not forget to finish with a good coat of lip balm to nourish the mouth.

2. The right choice of products

Lipsticks come in countless shades that you can choose according to your skin tone, but not all of them have the same texture. Creamy lipsticks, while they tend to smudge more easily, are more hydrating than mattes and will therefore work better for those who tend to have dry lips. On the other hand, if they bring a certain comfort, they require regular touch-ups. Conversely, matte lipsticks are known to last longer, but they dry out the lips a lot more. The gloss will help achieve a plump effect, but will require regular touch-ups throughout the day.

3. A well-designed mouth

Before applying your lipstick, you use a pencil to draw the contours of your lips. For a chic make-up, we recommend a pencil of the same shade as the lipstick that we plan to apply next. If you don't like the outline effect, know that there are transparent pencils. Experts also advise drawing the entire inside of the lips with your pencil for maximum hold. Finally, carefully apply your lipstick. The last step of your makeup is to remove the excess by gently pinching your lip on a tissue.
