US financial support for Tunisia is estimated at more than $46 million

The financial support offered by the United States of America (USA) for the benefit of Tunisia in order to help it in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic since its appearance in March 2020 until today is of order of 46 million dollars.

This was indicated in a press release from the American Embassy in Tunis. According to the same source, the USA has also granted more than 2.8 million doses of vaccine, after receiving more than 300 thousand additional doses of the Pfizer vaccine, within the framework of the international Covax initiative. The USA emphasizes its commitment to continue its cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Health in order to provide the necessary materials, including refrigerators for the storage of vaccines, and to ensure their availability in the various health structures in Tunisia.
