Overlining: this method to have luscious lips that only works on social networks

The Kardashian clan is fond of it. Overlining consists of drawing a fuller mouth with the help of a lip pencil and this, without going through the surgery box or at least not officially. The Italian influencer and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni is a fan of it and the blogger Mina Habchi still explained a few hours ago to receive tons of messages asking her if she had redone her lips. Supporting evidence, she made, in her Instagram story, a video showing how she increases the volume of her lips using a simple pencil and a gloss.

Overlining, too much?

Kendall Jenner, posted a video a few days ago where she zooms in on her face, probably to show off her fox eye makeup. Yet another detail that caught the attention of his fans. The model has indeed somewhat abused the overlining and it shows. Mary Phillips, the darling makeup artist of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, likes to enlarge the line but it does not necessarily appeal to everyone. Thus, we can read “Why this surplus of lipstick above, I do not understand? or even "Your overlining is on a higher level and that's not a compliment". A Tiktok user also made fun of these stars who abuse lip liner to the point of inventing a new cupid's bow. In a video, posted on the Chinese social network, the young woman tries to reproduce, too, this technique so popular by obviously magnifying things and the result is clear: it does not validate the overlining. When the latter is subtle yes, but when it feels like the hand has slipped, maybe not or at least from afar or behind our phone.
