A face mask 2.0

Today we want to look at the UFO 2, the ultimate in terms of smart masks and above all, the most developed device in the range. Like its friends, the latter comes in the form of a small box inside which it is possible to slip an activated mask, developed by the same experts at the origin of the original concept of the fabric mask, enriched with natural plant extracts, vegetable and botanical oils or hyaluronic acid. In total, 5 highly concentrated formulas have been developed to target a specific skin problem. But these small ultra-fine microfiber discs the size of a cotton ball do not alone explain the effectiveness of the device. Indeed, the UFO works under Hyper-infusion technology which uses the skin's natural reactions to hot and cold, exclusive T-Sonic™ pulsations and different LED lights, allowing to get the most out of each mask.

Innovative technologies

Any treatment carried out using UFO begins with the treatment of the pores by releasing a “hot” or “cold” action. Thermotherapy consists of heating the epidermis until it reaches a temperature of 45°C in order to soften the skin and open the pores, favoring the penetration of the mask's active ingredients, making them more effective in less time. Conversely, the cryotherapy mode reduces the appearance of pores and decongests the face thanks to the cold. With the touch of a button, the UFO instantly cools to refresh and invigorate the skin.

Secondly, the device emits several pulses that penetrate deep into the epidermis. In addition to massaging the face, these sonic waves exfoliate the skin without pulling it, improve detoxification, smooth fine lines, fade dark circles and reduce puffiness while increasing the effectiveness of UFO mask formulas. Last step, LED light therapy. How it works ?

To use the smart UFO mask, nothing could be simpler! We start by bringing our smartphone to download the FOREO application. After connecting our device to the application, we can finally start setting up the protocol that best suits our needs. If the “Make My Day” and “Call It a Night” routines are pre-programmed into the device, the other UFO mask treatments can be activated from the app. To do this, simply scan the barcode of the mask to automatically synchronize our UFO device. We then think about configuring the different technologies depending on whether we want to benefit from thermotherapy or cryotherapy and choosing the LED light best suited to our needs.

Once this step is complete, the activated mask is taken out of its bag and then fixed on the UFO device after first removing the fixing ring. All that remains is to start our cocooning session by gently sliding the UFO over our skin in order to distribute the essence evenly using circular movements. Working clockwise, start at the chin before moving up to the right cheek, forehead and continuing down the left cheek to the chin and neck. This movement is repeated until the end of the treatment, that is to say until the device turns off.
