The editorial has tested for you: day creams with SPF

Fabienne tested Slow Age SPF30 by Vichy

First impressions: More than the jar of cream which is nothing transcendent, it is the little box written on a green background that retains attention. This formula contains antioxidants, natural… and Bifidus derived from probiotics!!! Inevitably, since we are told about the benefits of probiotics for transit and co, my curiosity is heightened. What effects will they have on my skin?

Result: After a few days already, you can really feel the moisturizing effect of the cream. In terms of UV protection, my rather pale complexion means that I do not expose myself to the sun, but the SPF 30 is a good compromise for everyday urban use. In one week, my skin is very well nourished and softened.

The extra thing: Undeniably, it's the probiotic effect... whether it's fantasized or not, my skin has been invigorated.

What I liked: At first glance, the texture is a bit thick and sticky. An impression that fades quickly, as the formula is literally absorbed by the skin. No risk of shining, despite the summer heat. A good point.

Rating: 10/10

Sermena tested Biotherm's Blue Therapy Multi Defender SPF25 cream

First impressions: I particularly like the elegance of the jar and its beautiful deep ultramarine blue color. Upon opening, I was amazed by the pastel peach shade of the cream as I expected it to be bluish like others from the same brand. At first glance, the texture resembles an airy cream-sorbet, but in the end the consistency is close to a rich-balm. The scent is delicate and pleasant.

Results: When applied, the cream leaves a light oily film on the epidermis, which I correct with a foundation and a loose powder. Nevertheless, the skin is plumped from the first use, deeply hydrated, protected and does not feel tight at the end of the day.

The extra thing: It contains interesting ingredients such as red algae which helps fight the effects of pollution and minimizes dehydration or even baicalin which offers antioxidant action and protection against UV aggressions.

What I liked less: Overall this cream has innumerable advantages (UV protection, anti-aging, skin hydrated and protected from external aggressions), however I find it too greasy for the summer period.

Rating: 7/10

Biotherm Anti-Aging Blue Therapy Multi Defender SPF25 Cream, 95 fr. the 50 ml.

Ellen tested the perfect skin cream Vinoperfect SPF20 from Caudalie

First impressions: The packaging is simple, uncluttered, in the form of a small tube that is very easy and pleasant to use.

Result: I was afraid that my capricious skin wouldn't like this nourishing and anti-stain fluid, but on the contrary, I discovered that it had never appreciated a cream so much. We can say that it is love at first sight… epidermal! My skin feels hydrated, flaws diminished, and shows no signs of dramatic shine throughout the day. Not believing it at first (have I become a day cream cynic?), I quickly realized that I can't live without it. The effective sun protection perfectly spared my face from the dazzling rays of June.

The extra thing: Applied rigorously (every morning, for my part), this cream seems to gradually illuminate the complexion, helping us to display a radiant complexion every day.

My advice: In order to ensure optimal sun protection, I would advise people with very sensitive skin to opt for a higher SPF than this. Otherwise, a real cosmetic “crush” that I highly recommend!

Rating: 10/10

Alexandra tested Nuxuriance ultra SPF20 by Nuxe

First impressions: Visually, I immediately appreciate the green and gold color of the tube of cream and its packaging, I have a feeling of a fairly high-end product. With its cap and its small pump, the bottle is a kind of hybrid between a soft toothpaste-style tube, and more rigid packaging, like a small jar, it's a good idea. I am a little surprised by the color, yellow, of the cream, and very excited by its smell, sublime!

Results: Creamy, the lotion smoothes the skin, making it soft, velvety and hydrated. The UV protection does not feel, the product does not stick, is immediately absorbed, zero inconvenience. The only question: Is an index of 20 efficient enough? I think 30 would be the best.

The little extra thing: I'm almost "disappointed" because compared to my very expensive super cream from a big brand that I used before, I don't see any difference when I apply it!

Review: This cream has really everything for me, I will finish the tube throughout the summer.

Note: I'd say 9.5, because of the IP rating, which I would have liked a little stronger, but maybe that's a bit of a quibble.

Nuxuriance Ultra Nuxe Global Anti-Aging Redensifying Cream SPF 20, 56 fr. the 50 ml.

Caroline tested Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream SPF30

First impressions: The packaging is very old apothecary recipe. The texture is rich but not strangely sticky. A funny point: its minty smell. it cools early in the morning. Convenient when the heat wave rages.

Results: The skin is hydrated all day long and does not feel tight. The only downside, it makes the skin a little shiny.

The little extra thing: I recommend this cream for very sensitive skin that is afraid of the sun, but perhaps more so for the rest of the year. During the summer period, I swear by an SFP 50, because the rays are more intense.

Rating: 7/10

Jennifer tested Sisley's Brightening Daily Defense SPF50 fluid

First impressions: Well, I might as well say it right away, I'm quite a fan of this beautiful French brand. And only the price of the products often slows down my consumer ardor. I was therefore very curious to test this newborn from the Phyto-Blanc range because I unfortunately accumulate sun spots and remains of pregnancy masks all over my face. Anything that is likely to correct and protect is rather welcome. The immaculate and almost medical packaging of this line suggests good efficiency. As for the smell of the product, reminiscent of lavender, it is rather pleasant and natural.

Results: Thanks to the dispenser bottle, two small pushes are enough to cover the entire face and the product remains well protected. The fairly fluid texture does not prevent the whitening aspect on application. But don't panic, no white clown effect. Light, the cream penetrates quickly and the color disappears.

The extra thing: After two weeks of application, the pigmentation spots are slightly less dark. We fell in love with the anti-UV protective effect of the 100% mineral SPF 50 screen tested in crash test conditions during the heat wave. The skin is super well protected and remains so despite perspiration.

My advice: This is a cream that I enjoy applying every morning and whose effect lasts all day. A little trick: I don't forget to spread a hazelnut on my hands to protect them from aging, because they are worth it!

Rating: 9/10

Muriel tested One Beauty's Cell UV Protection Day Moisturizer

First impressions: The pump bottle is sleek and…impressive! I have trouble fitting it into my see-through “air travel” case. But I absolutely do not regret having taken it with me as soon as I apply the cream for the first time: it smells divine and immediately transports me on vacation.

Result: My skin is very well hydrated. Its light texture is perfect as a make-up base for sunny days. The foundation does not move once placed on the latter.

The extra thing: No shine to report, I'm a fan!

What I liked least: The fact that SPF protection is not indicated. We do not know if we are closer to an SPF50 or an SPF10…

Rating: 9/10

Cell One Beauty UV Protection Day Moisturizer, 69 fr. the 50 ml. The cream is available for normal skin, dry skin and in an anti-aging version.
