We're seeing more and more purple blushes, but are they that easy to wear?

Powder pink, coral, bright orange… There are dozens of blush colors. And if we are all relatively familiar with these shades, others, like purple, seem more difficult to wear. We're seeing more and more purple blushes, but are they so easy to wear?We see more and more purple blushes, but are they so easy to wear?

Purple blush is usually the product that ends up on the “promotion” shelves of stores because few people want to rub it. Still, this shade has a lot to offer!

With its healthy glow effect, it awakens the complexion in winter as in summer. And despite our preconceived ideas, it matches perfectly with all types of skin tones, as explained by Zoe James, a celebrity makeup artist interviewed by Glamor UK:

Purple, a surprising blush color

At first glance, purple blush seems to be an importunate and intimidating choice that would almost give a clownish effect to our beauty look as it is so pigmented. However, when it is lightly tapped on the face with a foundation sponge or a brush, it manages to reveal its full potential!

Loaded with pink pigments that are revealed once applied to the skin, it manages to assert itself in a discreet and elegant way. And its rendering literally changes completely depending on the skin tone of the wearer. Fascinating.

Beware of very fair skin

We see more and more blushes purple, but are they so easy to wear?

While it is true that purple blush is suitable for everyone, very very light skin tones should use it sparingly.

Why? Because they will tend to reveal the purple and bluish pigments of the blush and less reveal the pink nuances. A real bias that we may want to take – keeping in mind that this gesture can have the effect of dulling the complexion slightly and graying it.

In short, we're going very easy!
